GRace
Grace is currently studying medicine and, alongside her studies, loves spending as much time outdoors as possible. Whether she’s hiking through the countryside, cycling, or swimming, she’s happiest in nature. She’s currently training for a 5km charity sea swim in September, so you’ll often find her at the Cambridge Lido doing her best to stay afloat!
A lifelong vegetarian (and self-confessed hummus enthusiast!), Grace has had a deep love for animals for as long as she can remember. Over the years she’s gained experience caring for a wide variety of animals, from mucking out horses to walking dogs for friends and family, as well as volunteering with The Cinnamon Trust, helping provide companionship and exercise for pets whose owners need a little extra support.
Animals have always been a huge part of Grace’s life, and she has a particular soft spot for dogs and cats. She’s the sort of person who struggles to walk past an animal without stopping to say hello, and has to resist the temptation to bring home every cat or dog she meets while travelling abroad! At home, she also enjoys crocheting stylish accessories for her sister’s much-loved (and wonderfully sassy!) dachshund, Pip.
When she’s not studying or spending time with animals, Grace enjoys baking (and happily sampling the results afterwards!). She’s currently on a mission to discover the very best cinnamon bun in Cambridge, although the competition is fierce. Friendly, compassionate and naturally caring, Grace loves getting to know every pet’s individual personality and takes great pride in making sure they feel safe, relaxed and loved while their owners are away. She is delighted to be part of The Cambridge Catsitter team and looks forward to meeting many more wonderful pets and their owners.
