The Stamford Catsitter was established in 2019 and has now grown to look after the pet needs of over 1000 clients in the area. We’re fully licenced, insured and DBS check all of our staff.

We are a young and dynamic team, putting the welfare of our furry clients at the forefront of everything we do.

And now, we’ve expanded to Cambridge!

Cambridge based Pet Sitter & Dog Walker Part-Time, Self-Employed

We are always seeking new team members to cover visits & walks in various areas of Cambridge, so do get in touch and let us know where you are based.

Availability during evenings and weekends is essential.

Bookings will be given to the successful applicant as and when we receive them.

Please be advised they will mainly fall on weekends, bank holidays and school holiday time.

This a part-time, flexible role which we anticipate will grow in demand as the business continues to expand.

We must stress that there is no guarantee of weekly work (as the requests come from clients as-and-when they need them), but we believe this would benefit the right candidate as a supplementary income stream.

We require you to:

  • Be 18 years or over

  • Able to register for Self-Assessment (this will a self-employed role)

  • Hold a full, clean driving licence with access to a vehicle

  • Live within a reasonable distance to Grantham

  • DBS checked/able to pass a DBS check

  • Able to provide at least 2 references

  • Have a smartphone with unlimited internet access

  • Have a passion for animals and their welfare

  • Experience caring for pets

  • Be dedicated and conscientious

  • Be digitally literate and enjoy taking photos

  • Have great communication skills
