Julie

Julie is based in Wymondham and is a recent arrival to the area after spending many years living and working in London. Having successfully run her own small business for over 20 years, she brings with her a wealth of experience in reliability, organisation, and working independently — all qualities that are essential in pet sitting.

Julie has always had a soft spot for animals and particularly enjoys the calm, nurturing side of pet care. She has previously owned both a cat and a hamster, and while her hands-on animal experience has mostly been personal rather than professional, she is thoughtful, attentive, and naturally caring in her approach. One experience that really stayed with her was nursing an injured cat that had been involved in a road accident — something that highlighted her patience, compassion, and ability to stay calm and focused when an animal needs extra care.

She is especially keen to focus on cat sitting and small pet care, where she feels most confident and fulfilled, and loves spending time ensuring pets feel settled, safe, and comfortable in their own homes while their owners are away. Julie understands how important routine, gentleness, and trust are — particularly for cats — and takes pride in providing quiet companionship as well as practical care.

Now living in Rutland and working flexibly alongside her own business, Julie is excited to spend more of her time doing something she genuinely enjoys: caring for animals and giving pet owners peace of mind. Her calm nature, life experience, and dependable attitude make her a lovely addition to the team, especially for clients looking for considerate, unhurried care for their cats or small pets.
