Lydia F

Lydia lives in Bourne with her two golden retrievers, Bailey and Bonnie — a playful brother-and-sister duo who love cuddles, car rides, and making every day a little brighter. Animals have always been a huge part of her life, so caring for them feels second nature. Over the years, she’s had the joy of sharing her home with both cats and dogs, and she can’t imagine life without animals around.

She is currently a student veterinary nurse, completing her placement year at a local veterinary practice. This role allows her to combine her natural love for animals with professional hands-on training in animal health, behaviour, and welfare. Lydia’s background gives her a strong understanding of how to keep pets happy, comfortable, and healthy, whether they’re full of energy or a little more reserved.

When she’s not studying or out on dog walks, Lydia loves visiting Cornwall, spending time outdoors, and heading to London to see West End shows — especially anything by Mischief Theatre. She also enjoys quiet evenings at home with her dogs and a good film.

Pet sitting is a natural extension of Lydia’s lifelong passion for animal care. She treats every pet as if they were her own, ensuring they feel secure, loved, and well looked after while their owners are away. She especially enjoys building trust with each animal she meets and seeing their personality shine through with time and care.
