Lucy is a full-time member of our team based in Bourne, where she lives with her partner, two children, and two much-loved rescue dogs — a cheeky Corgi/Jack Russell cross and a spirited little Cairn Terrier. Down-to-earth, funny, and endlessly dependable, Lucy has been part of The Stamford Catsitter team since 2022 and has since cared for hundreds of pets across the region.

Originally joining us to help during busy seasonal periods, Lucy quickly realised she’d found her calling. She left her full-time retail job to become a professional pet sitter — and we’re so glad she did! These days, she’s one of our busiest and most trusted team members, known for her reliability, incredible work ethic, and the way animals instantly take to her.

Lucy brings fantastic dog-handling skills to the team, with years of personal experience owning and walking dogs of all breeds and temperaments. She also grew up with cats and rabbits, so she’s completely at home with pets of all shapes and sizes.

When she’s not out on a dog walk or visiting furry clients, you’ll likely find Lucy enjoying the outdoors, reading a good book, or spending time with her kiddies — often alongside her best friend (and fellow sitter!) Charlotte. She’s calm, kind, and someone who truly goes the extra mile to make sure every pet in her care feels safe, loved, and right at home.
